Designer Patricia Urquiola has conveyed the concept of a sofa’s visual perception of a sense of mental and physical comfort to the armchair Husk by designing an enveloping hard shell made of Hirek and generous soft capitonné cushion, which seem to underscore its ergonomic profile. Made of both recycled and recyclable materials, the series is available in three cushion types or with a headrest, a variety of colourways and finishes of the shell, leather or fabric cover, and with fixed legs or swivel base that allows radical change in appearance. The armchair also complements a comfortable matching ottoman.
