Wiener Silber Manufactur GMBH
Josef Hoffmann's cutlery, designed a year before the Wiener Werkstätte was founded, marks a silver revolution: the departure from historicism in favor of the clear line. The cutlery consists of 52 individual parts, including rugs such as rice spoons, potato spoons, vegetable spoons, lemon fork, mixed pickles cutlery, sandwich fork and matching spice bowls with spoons.
The design was inspired by the wedding of Maria Kohn, the granddaughter of bentwood furniture manufacturer Josef Kohn. An early set was implemented for Paul Wittgenstein, another for the Mautner Markhof family.
The cutlery is reissued according to old templates. The execution is done exclusively by hand.
